asgmaThe ASGMA membership scheme is a great source of information, advice and support. It gives our members the chance to share knowledge and experiences, and to get more involved in the vital work of the society. A strong membership allows the society to have a stronger voice in campaigning for the rights and entitlements of people with autism and their families. It is only with the support of our members that we can push and campaign for the services you need either as an individual with Asperger Syndrome/Higher Functioning Autism using our Aspirations Project, or the Parent/Carer of someone with Autism. 

Some ASGMA services are only open to members as we wish to ensure that people directly accessing our services can all feel part of the whole of ASGMA not just a part of it, membership gives us strength to fight for the services you need.

Membership - Your Questions Answered

Who can join?

People on the autistic spectrum, parents, carers, family members, professionals, support groups, and anyone who is interested in receiving the latest information from us. Members need to be over 18 years old.

What is the difference between individual and family membership?

Family membership allows all the people within a single address to be recognised whoever they are, be it parents, carers or an individual with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder. It allows the whole family to show their support for our Society and the work we do. It also allows for multiple discounted tickets to ASGMA events.

How Can You Join/Renew Print

How can you join/renew?

On line: You can become a member by clicking on 'Read More' in the 'Membership Form' section opposite to print off a Membership Form and forwarding the completed form to us with your payment. Alternatively, you can pay online using your Credit/Debit Card by following the instructions below.

To pay for your membership / renewal - please select the appropriate membership category from the drop-down list below and then click on the 'Add to cart' button, and then follow the Google Checkout instructions.

Please ensure that you print off a Membership Form (by clicking on 'Read More' in the 'Membership Form' section opposite) and complete and send the form to us - or if you are renewing your membership please E-mail admin(at)asgma.org.uk with your surname, postcode and the first line of your address, and the amount paid so we know it is you when checking the online payment records.
